Indy 500 Themed Custom Shoes and Gucci Bag

I had an incredible opportunity to work with the Indy 500 and the IU Health Foundation at seperate events to design and paint designer shoes and a designer bag. For the bag design, I incorporated the iconic flowers on the winners reef, and intertwined those with a checked ribbon.

The shoes were painted for Indy car driver Alexander Rossi and Chef Kelsey Murphy. For Alexander’s shoes, I incorporated a painting of his iconic winning photo from the finish line, along with the trophy he took home that year. For Kelsey’s shoes, I spelled out REV (the name of the event she was head chef for) in food she has cooked before. The Indy themed Alexander McQueen shoes and Gucci bag were painted for an auction.
