Professional Athlete Shoe Designs
A huge passion in my life is sports. Anytime I get the opportunity to mix in art with it is a huge win! Last year, I had the opportunity to design a shoe for Myles Turner, a power forward for the Indiana Pacers! I was able to attend the game to see my shoes on the court, which was extra special.
I wanted my design to represent Myles’s run for Defensive Player of the Year and also be Indy themed. The shoe shows him blocking a ball that is coming out of the Indianapolis logo in the middle of the shoe.
Dr. Greg Bell Olympic Shoes
In 1956, Greg Bell won the long jump gold medal in the summer olympics in Melbourne, Australia. I had the absolute honor of designing and painting a custom pair of sneakers for him to wear to be honored at half time of a IU basketball game. He’s had so many accomplishments in his life, I couldn’t fit them all on the shoe!
